MP3 is one of the compatible sound formats with the creation of YTMND sites. MP3 is the only sound format you can use with the Flash Preloader. There is no specific known limit to MP3 size, even though the site creation page mandates submissions to be less than 1.5 MB. Full songs upwards of 3 MB have been used in YTMNDs. Uploading MP3s over 4MB often results in a sound too large error, however. MP3s are often much smaller in size than WAVs, but one disadvantage is that they often have sound gaps at the end, resulting in bad sound loops.
