"Kirby sees ..." is a fad featuring the the typically perky Nintendo character Kirby witnessing various tragedies, from childhood obesity to anorexia. They generally consist of teary eyed images of Kirby set to the song "Ballad of the Windfish" (Legend of Zelda OoT Orchestral compilation CD Hyrule Symphony).
The first site of this kind was kirbyseesdeath by wildwookie05. A few days later, he created the site Kirby sees life as an antidote.
