This is a group of minor movie fads. For film-related fads with articles, see this category.

"88 Miles Per Hour!"

Back to the Future quote. From the scene in which the character Doc Brown tells Marty in the time-traveling Delorean how many miles he must go to time-travel. Example: Uh oh, speeding ticket!

Agent Smith

A clip of Agent Smith running from/to various things from The Matrix: Revolutions. He is either pursuing things like an ice cream truck or running from things.

Batman's Bomb Run

Various edits of the popular scene from the 1966 Batman movie featuring Batman carrying a bomb across a street. This picture has often been used as avatars on various message boards. The image will be altered to show Batman carrying other items (like Gay Fuel, a UMD, a Pokeball, etc...) This fad was a very-slow growing fad. Example: Batman: Don't Drop the Bomb (2nd Edition)

Curb-Stomp

The infamous curb-stomp scene from the movie American History X, showing a neo-nazi stomping on a black man's head. The characters are often replaced with other people (for example, The Burger King stomping on Ronald McDonald), or otherwise parodied (Curb-Stomp Game & Watch).

Marty and Doc

Based on a scene from the end of Back to the Future II, where Marty burns an almanac, preventing a bad future. What Marty burns is replaced, and the scene has been the focus of sites such as Marty and Doc prevent Scientology, Marty and Doc start NEDM, and That's the Power of Doc.

Mine

Based on the seagull call from the film Finding Nemo. It is usually used when someone wants complete ownership of something. Commonly used to poke fun at websites that did not update their copyright year from 2005 to 2006 immediately after the new year began, especially high-power franchises like Google. Also used in reference to someone playing mine sweeper and finding mines.

Nicholas Cage

A gif. of Nicholas Cage from Face/Off looking demented. Examples: Nicholas Cage loves Mario Kart, Nicholas Cage is trapped in Myst:Blue Book

Obi-Wan Steals...

A production image of Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones sitting in a speeder and smiling first appeared in You Make Obi Wan's Dreams. The image was edited by others so that Obi-Wan steals various things and makes his escape in the speeder. Examples: Obi-Wan steals Fizzy Lifting Drink, obi wan steals kfc, GAYTMND: Obi-Wan Steals a Gucci Bag

... will Kill Bill

A fad that usually uses images of people who appear to have murderous intent, using the song "Ironside" by Quincy Jones (the song was used in the movie Kill Bill whenever The Bride is having a flashback and is prepared to murder somebody).

You Must Remember This

Based on a scene from Casablanca, where Humphey Bogart's character Rick tells the piano player Sam to play "As Time Goes By". Due to Rick's vague command ("Play it"), the song Sam actually plays is easily replaced. Examples: You Must Remember This Too, Mario Must Remember
