The Charles Manson fad started in December 2007.  The fad was based on a part of an interview with Charles Manson in which he asks the nonsensical question: "Do you feel blame? Are you mad? Uh, do you feel like wolf kabob Roth vantage? Gefrannis booj pooch boo jujube; bear-ramage. Jigiji geeji geeja geeble Google. Begep flagaggle vaggle veditch-waggle bagga?" (As interpreted by DonaldMcRonald).  This phrase was used in several other YTMNDs in the past but never became popular.  However, it's introduction to fame appeared when the user [http://ytmnd.com/users/MetalMentality/ MentalMentality] made the YTMND, "Charles Manson's Epic Question."  It received high ratings, and inspired an even more popular YTMND by [http://ytmnd.com/users/DonaldMcRonald/ DonaldMcRonald].  It's possible that Manson was imitating other reporters when he asked the question.

A video of Manson saying the phrase can be seen [http://youtube.com/watch?v=XREnvJRkif0 here]
