Hi, Im dctownes. Ive been here for almost 2 years, and for some reason i keep coming back to waste more time. A lot of people first got to know me from my 'remix' sites, which were created back when simple head-pasting edits were just getting started.

Those are probably the best examples. At that point I was focusing a lot more on the audio edits than the visual edits, which I wanted to improve on. I learned a lot about Photoshop and imageready and started to spend more time on the animated gif in my ytmnds than the audio. This approach to site making led to the series of "Tiny Popstar dancing in food" ytmnd's.

This concept was not new to ytmnd, as Lizardman had created the very popular 'Mariah Carey in Butter' site. The difference between mine and lizardman's was that Mariah was normal sized in a large tub of butter, and my sites feature tiny popstars in normal sized food. I tried to get some of my favorite users to make their own sites, and a handful of people did including hanktherapper, dascoot, awesomebob, and click.
