Known bugs/unfinished features

Uploads only work in Firefox.- Fixed, or at least a fix was tested on chrome and IE8. Max 01:28, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Rich text links don't work yet.
-
UI for frienemies needs to be finished. -
YTMND spy needs to be written.- "Update on my sites only" needs to be added. steakman
- Need to add number of users online, site count, user count etc.
- Can't comment on site profiles (Chrome)
- I can not reproduce this. Need more information. Max 00:25, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Can't unhide comments (Chrome) Also it should just say "Below comment threshold"
- I can not reproduce this. Need more information. Also, "Below comment threshold" makes no sense. Max 00:25, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
-
Favicon does not appear on site profiles and pretty much ever other page besides the front page.- Fixed. Max 00:25, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
-
Low-rated comments are hidden even though I have that feature deactivated.- Fixed. Max 00:25, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
-
Some people listed in my friends list are listed as "enemy" even though they have not made me an enemy.- Fixed. Max 08:43, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- You can use Enter in comments, allowing massive comment page spam. Comment windows need a height limit. Example of what I mean Located Here. -MrStump
- I implemented a "fix" for this today, but frankly it could still easily be abused. I think how it works now is fine and I'll just have to deal with people who abuse it.
- News window closes, but the preference to have it minimized does not save, nor does it minimize automatically after 3-5 viewings (whatever it was). -MrStump
- Adding a site to your favorite list, doesn't do anything. -Hanktherapper
- If I want to remove someone from my friends list it automatically assumes I want to make them an enemy (and vice versa). I realize we can remove them by visiting their profile, but we should be able to delete them from there. -Hanktherapper
- I guess it isn't completely clear. When you remove a friend it says "X has been removed from your friends list, would you like to make them an enemy?", if you hit cancel, they won't be added to your enemies list and the same goes for removing enemies. As I can't change the button text of browser dialogs like that, I suppose I need to write a better description. Max 01:28, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
- YTMND (ab)users Anig, lacrossestar83, JoeyJoeJoe, GaryGnu, TheeBatman, asscockREDUX, and Gargamel are all still around.
-JohnnyLurg, the Hustla of Oral Diction
Broken Features
-
Views on the /sites/ pages don't seem to be right.- Fixed. Max 00:28, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Almost none of the user preferences work. Some of been fixed. Here is what hasn't been fixed. -Hanktherapper
- Any of the NSFW filter or settings
- Anything in the Privacy section
- Making someone an enemy doesn't hide their sites or comments.
- Voting on comments does not work (Chrome) Also maybe add when you click on the vote, it can display all votes. Ex, a Comments vote is +5 but when clicked it would say +7/-2.
- I can not reproduce any of your Chrome issues, but I added a title to the score so you can see the + and - votes. Max 00:28, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
-
Comment replies sometimes do not appear directly under the comment they are replies to. Can best be summed up on this page.- Fixed. Max 00:28, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
-
Top rated isn't listing the sites in order. -Hanktherapper- Fixed. Max 05:05, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
- My feed doesn't update when my friends create sites. It shows when they've edited their sites, however. (Firefox) - Nuroticat
- Unchecking all feed options instead causes all feed info to be displayed. (Firefox) - Nuroticat
Broken Images and Links
- The FM ad needs to find a better place on the front page.
Theme and design suggestions

.- On the front page, the top site under each heading is set against a background of exactly the same bright shade of red as the star colour in the foreground. This is a terrible mistake. Not only does it obscure the site's rating and (to a lesser extent) the title, it also introduces an extremely disorienting visual interruption into the beginning of each of the six site lists, resulting in poor legibility. The whole front page would be rendered more readable if these first items were set against the dark grey diamond background instead. —Rafe.
- Hey, you fixed it! Thanks Max! —Rafe 02:06, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- In the "recent activity" table on user pages, left-justify the "activity" column. This will make it easier to read. —Rafe.

I can't find the link to the wiki page from the front page. - doctorhamgasm.- Fixed Max 00:29, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- There is a lot of scrolling with the bigger comment box. Could you please add a link to either take me to the top of the page, or add the menu links at the bottom?
- Menu links like the nav? You are aware that most modern browsers allow you to jump to the top/bottom of the page by hitting the home and end keys right? Max
- Yes, like the nav. I usually don't take my hand off the mouse to view websites and most websites have a jump button and nav links on the bottom. I'm not asking for anything fancy. Just quick link above the contact us/page removal/terms of use/privacy policy links. --Hanktherapper 16:53, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- The check boxes in my feed and spy automatically reset every time I leave the page. It would be convenient if these settings would be saved so I don't have to constantly change them. I can see some people wanting to see what everybody does, but I don't want to see everything.
- Those checkboxes are mostly temporary until I find the time to make a nicer UI for them. At that point I'm planning on adding javascript/cookies to remember the defaults. Max 05:52, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- The ads are really annoying. They really distract from whats going on on the page. For example the ads in site profiles should be top / bottom banners. steakman
- ( ._.)
- (._. )
- I am waiting to hear back from FM about deferring or "lazy loading" the ads, so they are only loaded once the rest of the page has loaded, or even better, when they need to be displayed. Max
- Why not have just two banners per page, one at the top and bottom? And maybe put the FP ad in the center like it used to be.steakman
- Also please bring back green usernames in the comments so I can see where the hell I said something. steakman
- And for the love of god, please bring back "recent comments on your sites"steakman
- I second steakman's request. There so much information on your feed where it's really easy to miss new site comments. --Hanktherapper 16:59, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- The fact that your feed settings don't save hurt this the most IMO. The feed would replace the recent comments... personally I only want Friend's Sites and comments on mine viewable, but no way am I clicking through all those check boxes every time I wonder if anybody commented on my shit. MrStump
- More of a question. With the Hall of Fame deleted, the top view clogging sites are back (404 error, blue ball, HTPAT). Are you going to keep it that way or are you looking to change the hall of fame? --Hanktherapper 17:59, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Is the random feature returning soon? Right now, random.ytmnd.com links to the site with "random" as the domain. --prairiedogeric10
- Not a great big deal, but would it be a simple fix to show the exact timing that we submit sites (down to the seconds like before)? --prairiedogeric10
- When someone FAV's a site and comments, the "FAV" does not show up as their rating next to their comment. --prairiedogeric10
- I know you've got to be sick of hearing about the background being too dark. I like how the front page is right now. But it's the comment pages that you could do something with, since people spend more time reading those than they do reading stuff on the front page. Each comment is written on a solid black background. If you could simply change that to a light gray and have the text be black, it would be so much easier on the eyes. This would not require you to change the main background color, just the black rectangles that the comments are on. I think that would be enough to get people to stop complaining about the blackness. --prairiedogeric10
