I already imported the Wikipedia fad list on the 18th, when the RfC said to merge. I noticed someone blanked the list before you imported it again. Before the article got blanked, I removed all the red links, and did some other things to it. So I'ma revert it back to this version. (Unsigned edit by LBMixPro)

If you can, please export the XML data only for the YTMND related articles. (I don't think anybody wants a WP mirror). So you're an admin at WP? I am too! :) I forgot to put my for tildes, sorry bout that. As you can see, I've been working my ass off with the wiki the last few days, did you see the new Main Page header? --LBMixPro 14:56, 20 May 2006 (CDT)

Thanx! --LBMixPro 15:02, 20 May 2006 (CDT)

First, I'l like to change the logo first. The white padding around the stars looks too sloppy. --LBMixPro 15:12, 20 May 2006 (CDT)
It's not a problem right now. I can just use photobucket until uploads are enabled. --LBMixPro 15:23, 20 May 2006 (CDT)

Moe Epsilon 10:08, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

MUAHAHAHAHAHA Time to destroy this Wiki.... I mean .... YAH! ;-) But seriously, thanks! Moe Epsilon 16:03, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

A couple of things

Ok, I have a couple of things to discuss. First, is the Current events page supposed to say what it does? It seems rather... I don't know... not right. ;-) (Suggestion) Maybe we could take stories from the link on the Current events page and post them here.

Another thing, is once we establish a few great articles, is we could start is having a featured article for that day (or week). Whatcha think? Moe Epsilon 16:39, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Ok, but just letting you know, I haven't blocked anyone yet. I am just tagging indef blocked users pages. Moe Epsilon 17:05, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Oh..ok... but why are we whispering? Moe Epsilon 17:10, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Ok, I'll get to MediaWiki in a little while.. I gotta go do somethings and I'll be back in a little while. Later! ;-) Moe Epsilon 17:19, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Do you think we should set up a YTMND:Admin's noticeboard? --LBMixPro 20:10, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Rouge admin

I went rouge admin on every vandal's contributions. Sorry... Well, at least in the Talk namespace. What was this place like without the admins here? There was nothing but "NIGGA STOLE MY BIKE" talk pages (all but 5 that is). Well, I'm glad the vandals had fun. ;-) Moe Epsilon 22:55, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Duhhhh... whats this shiny big red button... *presses* Uhh ohh... *World Implodes* .... Ok, I won't do anything stupid ;-) Moe Epsilon 23:08, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
Hey, do you think pages like Terms of Use be placed in another namespace other than the article namespace or should we leave it there. Moe Epsilon 23:17, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
Err.. never mind.. Moe Epsilon 23:17, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Oh yeah, did you say something about needing my help with the MediaWiki? Moe Epsilon 10:06, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

Love the new skin for the wiki

It's great. --Stylesr 20:38, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

Until it got hacked. --LBMixPro
Yeah, stupid motherfucker.... -Mysekurity | talk 22:16, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

Ideas for Max

First of all, lets get uploads and personal CSS enabled. The rest can wait --LBMixPro 22:19, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

Oh yeah. I noticed that the login restriction was dropped when Max upgraded the wiki. There's some variables which Max should put on the LocalSettings.php, so the wiki won't screw up so easily. I'll email them to you though. --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 03:15, 23 May 2006 (CDT)

Ugh, sorry for being out so much. I looked over the wishlist, but saw nothing to add. You and Lbmixpro got pretty much everything I was going to say. Although, do we need to limit access to an account per invintation? (last suggestion on the page) Shouldn't we allow it to be open to those who are new but want toi help out? Moe Epsilon 09:07, 26 May 2006 (CDT)

Oh yeah, I just remembered something that possibly be changed, the timezone issue. Could you add to the wishlist that either the timestamp's timezone or the Special:Contributions's timezone be changed? I would add it myself, but I don't want to messup any order you and Lbmixpro setup. Moe Epsilon 09:11, 26 May 2006 (CDT)
Oh, I wanted the timezones in the Special:Contributions to match the one's in the timestamp. If we want the timezone to be (CDT), then we should get the Contributions page changed to CDT rather than UTC. Moe Epsilon 18:06, 26 May 2006 (CDT)

Wishlist to Max

Let's send it. --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 16:56, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

Burned out

Yes, feeling rather burned out, completly. To top off having computer problems and lack of time to spend on this Wiki, I am having moral doubts about my status on Wikipedia. I am posting a message on Wikipedia about what I've been doing. Hell, If I never make admin there, that would be fine, but I have to clear the air today. Moe Epsilon 16:55, 3 June 2006 (CDT)

Another Troll

Ahh, i love the rollback feature. -- fyrestorm 16:33, 5 June 2006 (CDT)

Yeah. It's awesome. Although I wish there was a faster way. You think it's Avillia? I mean, he is blocked at WP. Check the new policy. If Max can do it, so can we! --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 17:12, 5 June 2006 (CDT)
Actually, there is a faster way. VandalProof can find a user's contributions and revert them all quickly. I know that Fyre asked AmiDaniel about it, but I'll ask again. I don't care if it is Avillia or not, but the two names are too damn similar, and he can go fuck himself. It seems managable for now, but we might want to turn off new user page creation or something. Our biggest problem isn't bots or anything (and it's all pretty manageable), but these fucking trolls on their sprees. While Wikipedia has a lot more users, and a lot more trolls, they have more lame-Os reverting the fucktards around the clock. We don't really have that, we just have our secrecy. I guess it's something we have to put up with for now. Let's work on making this the best damn wiki it can be, and then open the floodgates, closing shit off as we have to. We've done a good job so far, I think. -Mysekurity | O RLY? 21:34, 5 June 2006 (CDT)
Actually, Avillia isn't blocked indefinantly at WP. I tried to make a thing of it at WP:AN but nothing came of it. He claimed he wasn't the same user, which I think he is full of shit, but what can you do? Avillia, well, if he returns here, you better damn guarentee I'll be here sometime to stop him. Moe Epsilon 01:57, 7 June 2006 (CDT)
Well, not indef, but he is... -Mysekurity | O RLY? 16:52, 7 June 2006 (CDT)

Thanks, guy

Let's try to get articles on these YTMNDs (although we already have the top ones, but we still don't have one for Blue Ball Machine). Also, I put some effects on the {{perma-blocked vandal}} to give the idea about teh (educational) footnote. --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 21:13, 7 June 2006 (CDT)

I created an article for the Blue Ball machine. --It's Smiddle, LOL | I believe you have my Talk Page? 10:28, June 12, 2006 (CDT)

Upvoter/Downvoter pages

Adverb, inkdrinker, and tehpwner2 all have their own pages. Why can't the most influential upvoter group in history have a teeny tiny page of its own? ='( ~DiF

Don't each of the upvoters have huge pages now? Or am I just editing an incredibly old post? Barcode711 19:25, January 10, 2007 (CST)

I noticed a lot of things are changing wiht the wishlist, what's up? -LBMixPro 05:25, June 11, 2006

Yeah I got the emails. ---LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 23:37, June 13, 2006 (CDT)

I use both Opera and Mozilla. It seems the tabs look right in Mozilla, wrong in Opera and abosluetly ruined in IE. I've tried every available hack to color IE correctly, but it doesn't seem to work.

Instead of Firefox, I like to use K-Meleon 1.0, it uses the same exact engine as Firefox, but doesn't have the resource sucking XUL interface Fx has, so it's about 8 times faster.

But that's strange because redlinked tabs still supposed to be red in all browsers. It shows red on mine. I think the only way to take out the square in Opera is to have max change the object/embed tag so it shows width="1" height="1". LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 20:39, June 15, 2006 (CDT)

Umm... Linspire? Anything with KDE on it. I was doing some tests will offline YTMNDs, and I found a way to fix the square. I'll PM max about it though. LOL, I just heard NuclearBastard on YTMND Radio say that he read a story about someone who spilled chemicals on his groin during his lunch break. I found the problem with the redlinks and fixed it. BTW, did you check your PMs? --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 21:19, June 15, 2006 (CDT)

Dubious Origins list

Hey there Mysekurity,

  • Thank you very much for the sysop access.
  • I'm currently maintaining a Dubious Origins list on my user page for articles that I have no clue where they originated from. I'm sure you could help me, since you can dig through the deleted articles on Wikipedia. I know that YTMND conference was actually based on a deleted article, so could you fetch me the edit history for that, as well as any other articles you can?

Messedrocker 00:37, June 20, 2006 (CDT)

lowercase titles.

There's one big problem I see with the new lowercase lettering. YTMND:Sandbox/test and YTMND:Sandbox/Test are two different articles. Someone can actuall write something fucked up on one article, and say that's the right one without having to touch the second one. Are we willing to set redirects for all the articles? --14:36, June 23, 2006 (CDT)

It's already been done. BTW, there's now a YTMND Wiki IRC channel. Check the community portal. --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 22:29, June 24, 2006 (CDT)

yeah, I was at the library earlier today, and noticed how screwed the layout looks. I wish I can do stuff about it, but there's IEfix css'es locked in the default monobook skin which screws everything up. That's why there's a yellow border instead of the grey. I doubt I can fix it, but I'll see what I can do?

moving content from fadwiki.wikia to ytmnd/fads:

When this ytmnd/wiki was young, spam driven and barely had any content, fadwiki.wikia had all actual ytmnd fads categorised only by me. As this wiki grows moving a lot of content from one wiki to another, only leaving some links to ytmnd/wiki, is ineviteable for fadwiki.wikia .

  • ytmnd/wiki and fadwiki.wikia both have content the other wiki does not.
  • ytmnd/wiki is more active but lacks/ed in style, fadwiki.wikia is more sorted categorised but out of date and inactive.

big tasks and changes here:

  • Moving and merging a lot of content from one wiki to another, including style.
  • A lot of templates are used for sorting in categories and style.
  • namespaces may be an issue.
  • The "ytmnd fads" list gets reduced to a category article, all fad descriptions to to its fad article. WAY more overwiew

... now klicking through this wiki to check general differences, merging difficulties, namespaces... --Ollj 09:57, July 12, 2006 (CDT)

fyrestorm desysoped me for personal power struggling over me voting his sites, bringing this to a complete stop. requesting sysop again. --Ollj 06:32, August 8, 2006 (CDT)

Forking this to the admin's noticeboard. --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 15:43, August 8, 2006 (CDT)

New layout

Monobook will not work with the new layout. I wonder when we'll get the server access so we can make a new skin (even if it means modifying myskin.css). Other than coloring the monobook skin similar to the browse feature, I'm stumped. --LBMixPro<lol, talk page> 20:15, September 24, 2006 (CDT)
